pitapat creation #22
From pencil to marker and color pencils. A step by step guide to drawing a fashion body with wrap blouse, jeans and strap heels.
Wrap blouses are seen everywhere in the market these days. I especially like wrap bodies with big bows emphasizing the waist, it brings out the feminine appeal. The hairstyle is currently a very popular styling in Korea called C-curl. A layered cut with the bottom of the hair curling to become the shape of a C. Hope you enjoy the process.
First choose draw the body and choose a pose you'd like to wortk with.
Then draw a brief outline with pencil of your design, hair and face.
Erase the pencil lines slightly so the lines are visual but won't leave pencil stains. Then use a marker to color in the skin (copic E50), hair, clothes and shoes.
Now we move on to the face and hair.
The details of the blouse is drawn with a grey pencil and retouched with a copic warm grey 01 marker.
Then move on to the jeans. The white parts were drawn with white color pencil and also white gel pen.
Last of all, go over the details from top to bottom to balance the color and tone of the drawing.😘

These really light thin strokes when you design the character and clothing are my favorite parts of the process ^^ i allways love looking at the construction / structure of the very very expert soft lines ^^
