Embracing Change, pencil crayon drawing
This is one of my first pencil crayon drawings, as well as one of the first pieces of art I ever sold (for $20)! I am having a lot of firsts at this time in my life and this drawing felt fitting to me. This piece is about embracing one's inner light and stepping courageously into a new state of being.
Change often comes with a sense of excitement, joy, but can also bring with it a feeling of disappointment, fear. I am ecstatic that I am experiencing my first pregnancy, but it looks like I will probably end a cSection. That is not at all what I had hoped for, but unless baby wants to turn in the next couple weeks, it looks unavoidable. An external cephalic version was attempted today and did not work. I am choosing to embrace change and will take whatever steps are necessary to bring my child into this world safely. I really look forward to being a Mother and it doesn't matter if it isn't the way I had imagined it to be. I am truly blessed <3

Is that really made using pencil crayons? Looks amazing and you have great talent. Keep making more such art and I am sure you will be famous pretty soon.
