Anime Art Contest: Entry - Kaneki Ken
Here's my entry:
This was an old drawing of mine. I would've provided the step by step procedure but unfortunately, I lost the psd file along with a bunch of other drawings :(
Luckily for my little Kaneki here, I was able to post the drawing on other platform (which sadly ruined the image quality). This was originally made to be my wallpaper; thus, the weird ratio hehe
Feel free to use it as a wallpaper too if you guys are interested n_n though the quality is reaaaally bad I'm so sorry :(

Kaneki Ken was originally born with nice black hair. He lived in a town where man-eating creatures called ghouls reside. Be very careful of who you interact with as these ghouls have no distinctive features to distinguish them from humans (aside from their black eyes, kakugan, which can voluntarily be hidden). He was a cute bookworm who had a huge crush on this girl who coincidentally liked books too! He should've known that this girl was too good to be true. Little did he know that this small encounter would completely change his life.
Yes! Kaneki was that cutie pie and now he's a macho white haired babe. \o/
Tokyo Ghoul, in my opinion, is a must READ! I repeat, READ! The first season of the anime was great! It really hooked me in and got me to read the manga to know the rest of the story. But the second season was just disappointing and a bit rushed. But that's just my opinion. n_n Do read/watch it for yourself (if you haven't yet) and let me now what you think about it!

I felt the second season was rushed too!
They ended the first one on a really good point and I was expecting a lot from the second one but it turned out to be disappointing.
Guess with the budget and time constraints they have that's what kills most of these animes....
I'll read the manga as soon as I get the chance! ^_^

I was actually surprised how popular it became, I guess a lot more people are into the gore stuff than I thought :D
I think it became popular not only because it’s gorey, but also because of the great plot :D
