A Fisherwoman
Aloha Steemians!
The picture that I drew today, is a woman who is fishing--fishing for people. An evangelist; wanting to help reconcile people to God. She has been sitting in her boat waiting and waiting--wondering if she is in the wrong place or if she has the wrong bait. What she doesn't realize, is that the under the water the fish are starting to come. God is the one that draws the fish closer. So hopefully she doesn't give up too soon.
Mark 1:17 says, "Then He said to them,"Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men."

It's easy for us to second guess our location and purpose in life. I do it all the time. Sometimes I feel either too focused on the past or future and not as attentive on the present. Well, God has the future in his hands and the focusing on the past only takes my time i have to enjoy the present. I have to remember that God has us exactly where He wants us to be at any given moment. He knows what it takes for us to follow him, and our experiences, even the negative ones can all be turned into positive results. Even if we don't necessarily see it.
Yes, that is true! Those are wise words. We have to trust that He is taking care of us and leading us, even through our mistakes. Thanks for your reply! :-D
