Creating a vintage picture frame - Step by step:)

Yesterday in the art store I bought a round canvas, that came with a frame for decoration.

I decided that my first experiment with creating a frame will be quite easy, I'll just do a vintage frame:) So:

We need a brush, a white undercoat, and a colored paint. Here I use special vintage chalked paint. I removed the canvas to avoid coloring it:

The first step in putting the undercoat. It will make the main paint look brighter.

Don't forgeet the edges inside and outside:)

After everything is dry (the next day) I add a layer of slight blue paint:

Again, don't forget the edges:)

After everything is dry I use sandpaper to handle the paint layer a bit, so that the lower (white) layer of paint could somewhere come through the upper layer (blue one). I tryed to take a photo of the result, but it's really hard to see:(

So, that's what we have:) Now it's time to create the painting on canvas:)
