Raphael Styled Pencil Portrait
Hi steemians, sharing with you a quick pencil portrait sketch. Inspired from Rafael Sanzio sketches. I only used a HB pencil and went for a very simple style. Not too strong contrast and a few lines for the tones. It creates quite a peaceful tone for the piece. Raphael's work is admired for its clarity of form, ease of composition, and visual achievement of the Neoplatonic ideal of human grandeur.
It didn't take too long maybe 30-60 minutes and was done on A5 paper.
