Yay! It's Almost Over!
Yes, dear reader, just one more week to go before Outworlder #1 is complete. It's time to dig in and see what kind of soft-crunchy goodness awaits inside this week's installment!
Our hero, Cal Havenbrook has just located his former middle school English teacher, Ms. Moreman, who was kidnapped by a soldier-of-fortune by orders of Damontroth. She's being used to help stabilize the Void Circle so the villain can plunder all of creation.
Aevea, our forest dweller heroine, has been through many trials on her journey with Cal, and now she must be strong once again if she is is to help her soulmate defeat Damontroth and return the dome people their sovereignty.
Hey! I predicted he would twist his ankle last week!
Okay, not much of a prediction. Not only did I craft all of this, it's actually an inside joke. I used to twist my ankles all the time. Even managed to twist them in high tops.
This different body gives him super tumbling abilities. Oh, and look, there's the no name mercenary guy with his puny laser gun. Good thing he's wearing armor. Taking on some friendly fire there.
Now, this is about the time a normal hero would use a right cross or upper cut to get by our junior villain, but no! Cal goes straight for the old run them over trick!
And in he goes. And goes. And goes. And goes. And goes. And...
Hmmm. I don't think that went according to plan.

More disconnected word bubbles. Oh, so we've been watching a play. Which act is it? Probably the third, since we're near the end.
Great adversary? Didn't you guys just meet? How do you have a history? And living death. Isn't that kind of a contradiction in terms? Maybe Cal is now a vampire. Or a zombie. Or something.
Whoa! Aevea goes for the choke hold! She's turning out to be more of a fighter than Cal is! Except, she apparently is confusing Cal for someone else. Define "kind to me." More like, said things that upset you.
I have to say, though, she's wiling to die for what's right. That's true heroism.
Okay, Damontroth, that was uncalled for!
Dude, chill! Sounds like someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Need a snickers?
What has happened to Cal and Ms. Moreman? What will happen to Aevea? (Take your pick. They're both in danger right now). Will Damontroth win? After all that monologuing and scenery chewing, will he actually get his way?
