Outworlder #1—Page 23
Hey! There's Only One Page Here!
Yeah. I forgot there's a two-page spread coming up that won't make a whole lot of sense if I post page 24 with page 23. I need time to figure out how I'm going to present the two page spread (since I think there's another one later on), so I'm hoping you all will forgive me.
Fine. Get On With It Then
No name hero, looking for Ms. Moreman, former middle school English teacher, who he discovers was kidnapped by orders of Damontroth, a not-so-nice-guy we haven't met yet.
Forest dwelling girl who can feel injuries and illnesses, goes against her father's command and heals our hero after he unceremoniously gets blasted from the sky. Now he and she are inseparable. Not physically, though. They're only "soulfully" joined.
Now they're reality hopping across a bridge in hopes of eventually getting to a humongous dome where Ms. Moreman is probably being held. Except things keep happening and even though they're literally soulmates, they're not getting along so great.
Our heroes have just left the cave of the GodKing (who coincidentally, is potentially our male hero, if getting possessed and knowing what to say is any indication) and just barely appeared as aquatic folk (quite nonchalantly I might add) in some underwater world.

Hey, so, yeah. Here we are in underwater world. Lots of seaweed or something growing on the ocean floor. Talk about the GodKing. That little suspicion our heroine has sounds interesting. She could be onto something!
But if Damontroth is the cave dwellers actual GodKing, then was our hero mimicking Damontroth? Or rather, taken over by him? Now that's a scary thought.
Oh, oh. We've got bubbles. Lots and lots of bubbles. Since this isn't a bathtub...
Yep! Cue the huge water monster tentacle! And it's grabbed ahold of the bridge! Not half bad as far as monster tentacles go. Probably look better in color.
I'm glad to see we have a hero that adheres to the MCU Captain America protocol of language. This is a family-friendly graphic novel after all.
You can't become fearless unless you know fear, so it sounds like our heroes are well on their way.
That's It?
I know, another Outworlder post, another cliffhanger.
Did any of last week's questions get answered?
No, although we still haven't heard a peep from our heroes about their latest transformation. That might be an answer.
Will our heroes be able to cross the bridge in time before they're stuck forever in underwater land world. Will they ever find out what the tentacle belongs to? Will the next realm be Winter World? Rain World? Sleet World?
Only way to know is to read the next exciting installment of...Outworlder #1!
