  With blockchain, information is stored identically across many computers. Any information not recognized by all the computers involved is made obsolete. We can all now agree on the validity of things on the network and trust one another without intermediaries.

You can think of blockchain technology as an invisible data organism that disperses it's intelligence or information to all of it's parts immediately and securely. If you destroy on aspect of it (a computer), it can just "regenerate" itself by the means of the rest of the parts involved.
