when i was a kid, i loved reading mythology. one of my favorate characters in Norse mythology was Thor. not marvel's Thor. the Thor that was the burly, hard partying, heavy drinking, red bearded god of thunder that always seemed to let his ego cause havic.now i'm not saying that marvel Thor wasn't ok . i found some of the issues i read to be entertaining. when the first big budget (not that low budget made for tv straight to vhs bag o shit) Thor movie came, out i was inspired to paint this.
i can't remember the paint program that i used but i know i got it from apple's app store. on of the cool things about the app was it had a layering tool. i used right around ten layers on this digital painting.
