Idyllic Life Painting

I am always a fan of Grandma Moses. I like the idyllic life she paints and I also like the embroidery, which she likes. As soon as I saw the topic-spring- of the competition, I decided to facsimile her oil painting of spring blossoms. The difference is, I paint with gouache. For me who never used gouache, the color tuning is a bit tricky. It is until the 3rd time of trying is it turned out to be a little satisfying.

As a rookie, without any instructions, the difficulties I face are way beyond imagination. It takes me plenty of times for tuning just one color, and the only time I can spend on painting everyday is after my kids sleep. This is why the painting cost me days.
