THE WARRIOR

This is my warrior, and it's one of my favorite drawings.
It is drawed with sanguine on velvet paper.
What I like is that I managed to represent just what I wanted as I wanted:
A young rebellious man with fire burning in his eyes by anger. The anger of having been cheated, and of not being able to easily change the things.
Technically I am satisfied because I drawed my subject with a few lines but placed in the right place. I also wanted to keep it at 100 % classic, and I can say that I'm happy with it: -)
And finally, I often like to have a kind of dialogue with my personage in my works, a more direct contact!
That's why he looks at us, or rather fixes us! So a reciprocal thing is born: -)

IL GUERRIERO

Questo è il mio guerriero, ed è uno dei miei disegni che preferisco.
È disegnato con la sanguigna su carta vellutata.
Quelche mi piace è che sono riuscita a rappresentare esattamene ciò che volevo come lo volevo :
Un giovane ribelle con il fuoco che arde nei suoi occhi dalla rabbia. La rabbia di esser stato imbrogliato, e di non poter cambiare facilmente le cose.
Per quelche riguarda la tecnica sono soddisfatta perchè ho disegnato il mio soggetto con poche linee ma piazzate al punto giusto. Ci tenevo anche a tenerlo al 100 % classico, e posso dire di esserne contenta :-)
E per finire, spesso nelle mie opere mi piace avere una specie di dialogo con i miei personaggi, un contatto più diretto!
Ecco perchè il personaggio ci guarda, anzi ci fissa! Cosí nasce una cosa reciproca :-)
