The evil formed around him creates a giant being, yellow in color, and with the attitude of a child, which turns hell into his own paradise. Goku and Paikuhan are interrupted from their fight in the otherworldly tournament, to fight against Janemba. As soon as he arrives, Paikuhan challenges him, but with a single punch he defeats him.

While Paikuhan takes care of removing Enma Daioh from his palace, Goku challenges him. Janemba makes mini clones of himself, but they were destroyed by Goku at the time. He then uses Illusion Strike, but when Janemba punches him, he is deflected by a flurry of ki that hits him in the face. Goku launches a KameHameHa that is reflected with Cosmic Illusion and is beaten by his own technique. Goku transforms into Super Saiyan 2, but Janemba throws several bursts of ki that come out of his belly and is defeated, in the end, Goku transforms into Super Saiyan 3 and defeats Janemba.

Goku Super Saiyan 3 hits Janemba very hard and undergoes a transformation in a second form equal in size to Goku's. This new devilish looking form seems to be on the same level as Goku, but the thing gets worse when Super Janemba uses the Dimensional Sword and attacks her arms. When Goku is defeated he loses Super Saiyan 3 status. Since he is in his base form and about to die, Vegeta appears. The battle is unequal. Vegeta discovers that he can make portals to other dimensions and launches a burst of ki that he gives to Janemba, but he uses his arm to strangle Vegeta and defeat him.

Finally Goku decides that the only way to defeat the demon, is to merge with Vegeta, but the fusion fails because at the moment of shouting "HA!", Vegeta had his hand wielded, so the fingertips do not they touched, spoiling the fusion in this way. In spite of everything, Veku manages to survive the 30 minutes. At the end of the merger they decide to merge again but Super Janemba did not leave them. Then, Paikuhan gets to distract Super Janemba so that once again Goku and Vegeta merge. As Super Janemba defeats Paikuhan, Goku and Vegeta merge creating the new Gogeta warrior, transformed into Super Saiyan, who easily defeats Janemba with the Star Dust Breaker.

Janemba (ジ ャ ネ ン バ Janenba) is the main villain of the Dragon Ball Z movie: The rebirth of fusion! Goku and Vegeta. He is a demon of pure evil and great evil power. Created by an ogre teenager named Saike, he was responsible for monitoring the soul purification machine, which explodes as a result of the ogre's lack of care.
