#art: Dance Selampit Eight Jambi Indonesia

At the beginning I painted this picture at my friend's request in Jambi. As the development of traditional culture in Jambi Region, it must be made as good as possible.

Cartoon above describes "Selampit Eight Dances" in the Jambi Region. This dance has a very important meaning in glueing the association, therefore Selampit cloth that amounts to eight pieces with a variety of colors is a symbol of social link between young people in the city of Jambi.

This dance depicts 4 pairs of young people who each hold 1 selampang (Selendang), the dance choreography itself arranges the four pairs of young people while dancing crossed moves, while knitting the selampit so that it becomes a rope composed of various colors. so-called united symbol of unity is shown.

Of course in making this image takes a long time, ranging from the process mengammbar up to redo in Adobe Photoshop Cs 6.
