Our hero flees, but the gang of shadowy cloaked figures notices and gives chase. It seems like they have more in mind than just a beatdown, should they catch him. The customs of this city are strange indeed.

A quick question here...when our hero and the cloacked figure fought? Did our hero sustain any physical injury in reality or was the injuries in the game alone? If he didn't sustain any physical injury then I would advice our hero to stand the hell up and stop playing.
Our hero was far too curious and now he runs for his life. Keep running till you find an exit from this mess
Well the first reaction of our Hero is to RUN and RUN until our Hero can find a hole where he can hid his avatar. But if he can't find a place where he could hide his avatar then maybe surrender to the shadowy cloaked figures. Maybe he also wants to find out what will these guy to to him.

Maybe he's stuck. He should get out of the game because there is no option left. If they going to catch hold of him they are going to kill him. Run hero run, run for your life.
There's a chance they're not planning something evil but that's unlikely since he's already had a fight with one of them. He should keep running right now
He should take out his pokeballs and kill them all.
Well, he certainly shouldn't go near any river or trees, else he'll be squealing like a pig. Maybe he should try dumping his jar of liquid behind them to trip them up? Or, he could stop and receive their customs. Over and over again. Until the night goes onnnn.
Well, what did our hero expect when he used the dildo on the creature? They must think he likes to "party" now!
I agree with @michaelluchies, since it is just a game he should stop and see what would happen if he pulled this same crap in real life.
