The finale

Yaaaaaaay we finally concluded the 10 DAYS AT SHILOH crusade and it was completely amazing. Chains were broken, there was deliverance and so much more.

I was priviledged to minister in a drama on the finale and it was also amazing. I am not much of a story teller but i will try to tell the story as best i can. Just know that it was way more interesting than i will tell it here.
The story goes thus...

A christian young man, who works as a Driver, runs into an old ex girlfriend and she invites him to come over to her place to catch up on old times. Unfortunately she has an asthma attack and she died while he ran out for help. He was arrested and convicted for her murder because she happened to be related to a serving senator and the Investigating police officer doctored the autopsy report so as to close the case quickly and score points with the senator at the expense of this young man.

He was sentenced to death by hanging, despite several futile appeals, and had been on deatrow for years now awaiting his time to be executed. One faithful day, as he was praying and telling God how difficult it had become to pray due his present condition but still expressing his resolve to stand firm and hold on to his faith, one of the inmates he had converted to christianity came to tell him the news of how another inmate he had prayed for got healed. This ,ade him realise that his been in prison was for a purpose which gave him a sense of calm and assurance that God had not left him there. As that was going on, he gets summoned by the warden and as he got to thte office of the warden he couldnt help but be afraid that it was finally his time to die.

But instead, he was been summoned by the governor of the state who had gotten alot of pettitions and had opened an investigation into the IPO that procecuted him. It was discovered that the evidence used to convict him and some others had been doctored to further the career of the IPO. As such, the governor granted him a prerogative of mercy and the death sentence was cancled and he was set free.

The story followed the theme of the crusade, OPENING CLOSED CASES. And the young man's seemingly closed case was revived and he gained his freedom back.

As with the last drama, there were alot of reservations on this, we were limited in time to properly rehearse for this but as usual we habded it over to God and it came out beautifully.
