"Saled caramel popcorn" does sound better than only caramel popcorn.

Kind of related to that, when I'm looking for baking recipes online it seems that almost all "caramel" -things are nowadays "salted caramel" -things. Like if you previously could find a recipe for "Caramel cheesecake" now it's "Salted caramel cheesecake".

Salted caramel is the new black.
