Why you want to post on Dporn and how to get started
This post will be promoted and beneficiary is set to @null on behalf of the @dporn team.
Hey there Steem community, my name is Scarlet and I like to take photos of myself. Nice to meet you ;)
Why? Who knows. I like the way it makes me feel, I like the end results of the photography and I enjoy actually taking them. I think there is something sensual and beautiful about the female body and I like capturing that on camera. Eventually perhaps I will begin taking boudoir photos of others, but for now I am a free model to practice on. I also think that taking these sorts of photos makes women feel sexy, builds their confidence, as well as helps them explore their sexuality.. and I think that is pretty damn healthy for anyone and everyone. I found dporn by stumbling across a comment on a reddit thread and thought I would try it out as it seemed like a place to share my photos while also having a way to engage with other members.
Why am I telling you this? Well I was asked by some in the Dporn community to share why I post photos in an attempt to show the Steem community the potential of Dporn.
Because Dporn is not just "porn", it's erotica, boudior photos, a good tease, or anything else that is expressing ones sexuality.
The idea was that then @kingdong would share on his account as he has a bigger audience and this would help it reach more individuals that may find it useful.
I am here to tell you how I post and keep myself anon, as privacy is really important to me. While I have posted my photos online, I am very careful to not give away too much about who I am. I do so because I like the mystery as well as for safety reasons.
Also because some felt there may be members of the steem community who are curious about posting but just aren't sure how to keep their privacy. Or maybe to just help other individuals, like myself, learn how to easily make a Steem account and start posting and earning on Dporn.
So do you want to post some sexy photos but want to keep your identity "secret"? Let me show you how!
Step One: Get An Anon Steem Account
This can be done in many ways, including through the Steemit.com front end. Simply choose the sign up option, and the "pay to sign up" option. This will give you a list of locations to purchase an account.
The anon options (that I am aware of) include "Steem Anon" or "Steem.ninja".
I personally preferred using the Steem.ninja option as I could just quickly pay with a credit/debit card. If you have crypto on an exchange already though, the Steem Anon is an easy to use service as well.
Choosing either of these services will keep "who" created the account as anon, and therefore lets you keep your privacy.
Setting up my account through @steem.ninja was quick and easy. It cost $3 to make and I had the account instantly. They even had a simple copy and paste text to copy my account keys so they could be saved accordingly.
Be sure you save your keys before moving on to the next step. You can not get them again. Copy/paste into multiple secure places and print it out too.
Step Two: Verification
Verification is really important as many members of the community help to downvote content which is stolen etc. By verifying the content is yours, you get a lovely badge as well as will receive more support - many dporn stakeholders will only curate those that have been verified and have the badge.
You can do this through a post where you simply hold a sign with your username, the date and "dporn" on it. Then take a photo and do an introduction/verification post. Then it would be best to go through the dporn website and submit that verification as well, so they can get your badge done quickly.
How to verify while staying anon?
There is no reason that you have to show your face or give away your identity to verify. In fact I was pretty adamant about not having to do either, so I came up with a clever way to prove I was the person in the photos while still keeping my privacy.
Due to an excessive amount of scammers who were photo shopping signs into photos that weren't theirs, I just simply added additional actions that I knew could not be easily photoshopped in. Like crumbling up the sign and having photos of both before and after doing so in the post. While also being sure my full arm holding the sign was in the photo.
This allowed me to verify that the photos were real and were mine, but also allowed me to keep my privacy. I was given the first ever "Verified Creator" badge on dporn due to this technique and believe it's a simple way that anyone can do, including you ;)
Step Three: Your Photos
The type of photos you post are obviously up to you. The dporn website is not just for "porn" and honestly I will be glad when they finally add additional tags so I won't have to use that one anymore to be seen on the site. I post more "tease" style or what I call "boudoir" photography, but honestly all is welcome.
If you are wanting to keep your identity a secret then of course making sure your face or identifying aspects are not included will be something you will have to work on. You can do so with after cropping or by simply positioning yourself a certain way when taking the photos.
I would suggest paying attention to lighting and also not to be afraid to do a bit of after editing to help enhance whatever look you are trying to achieve.
If you only have a cell phone then natural light is your friend. No one wants to see shitty, blurry, crap cell phone photos, so know your equipment and work with what you have. Cell phones need natural light, that is just a fact.
Editing
Slight editing can not only do wonders for your photos but can also help you keep your privacy. I personally have a tattoo that I like to remove in after editing, as I see it as something that could be used to identify me. I use a simple phone editing app to do so as well as any other editing I feel in the mood for.
While there may be more professional options out there, I find this one very easy to use and therefore it is what I recommend. It lets you play with filters as well as use the retouch options to smooth skin, remove tattoos or whatever else you may find useful.
It is a free and easy tool that can help anyone get started.
Step Four: Have Some Fun
Yes let your hair down, put on some music and explore your sexy self ;) Find the style you enjoy and just keeping trying until you get something you like. They can be artistic, or just fun. It's all up to you!
Feel free to take a look at my blog, @thescarletletter and see that @dporn isn't all about hardcore porn, it's about feeling sexy in your own skin. And how you achieve that is up to you.
Sign up and get started! It's really that easy. <3

Excellent breakdown on how all this works @thescarletletter we'll be adding this to the list of resources for new users to get started. We are close to opening up our content creators portal here.
Also, good timing as we've added the tags, 'boudoir' and 'erotica' as paid tags going forward. So you can just one tag and still get paid in PORN tokens.
Thank you again for putting this together for us as it help hopefully get more users to feel free to post and not worry about them losing their privacy in doing so.
Big update tomorrow.
Oh that’s great news! I went ahead and updated the post to show that change. 🎉
You’re welcome, thank master and dong for the idea. I just wrote the post 🙂 I hope it helps.
Almost had me convinced for a few seconds there! lol

I don't think people should like nudies if a 50-year-old hairy fat bastard...

You'd be surprised - there's actually an audience for that, too
I'd have to agree with Daddycosmic on this one lol...
follow me
I love this part "Dporn is not just "porn", it's erotica, boudior photos, a good tease, or anything else that is expressing ones sexuality"
because some people think Dporn is only the nudity. Thank for your nice explanation
I think there should be a sensual or sexual nature in the content, and I think some have been taking advantage of trying to get a new token. That to me is why some members have responded the way they have.
Yeah your body is yummy to fuck

For some reason I doubt that's just a bad translation.
Wow, most forward comment I’ve gotten on dporn. Thanks for doing it on a post intended to encourage others to post 😉 lo
Here's some water for that thirst.
Incredible post! Great advice for content creation generally, not just on DPorn. Well done!
Thank you ☺️
Great advise and well put together post. Hopefully a lot more will follow in your example and get posting. It can be fun and sexy which is the benefit of connecting directly with your audience rather than the fake stuff on most sites.
Damn, what an absolutely gorgeous body!
I just melt every time she posts lol
When god made lady, he made scarlett.
I don't know how this ended up in my feed but since it did I had to check out what this was....I'll probably forward it to my sister, she's an online stripper....anyway....
If you can't see the face and considering the world we live in now there's quite a few men out there who do a pretty good job posing as women, so your statement could stand as a understatement.
Plus this reminds me of way back when there was this one girl who lived upstairs from us, she had what the guys described as a hot body but she was ugly as heck...I remember one guy quipped, "I'd f**k that, I'd just have to put a bag over her head".
Thank you ☺️
Elegantly put. Great ideas and a great article. I hope they do include more hashtags so that there is more variety there.

Oh looks like the new tags are added, I updated the post 🎉
Read my comment above as literally we were making those changes.
Thank you ☺️
Yes I was told that they should have the other tags out soon. That way it will pick up more content I guess and also probably more attractive for individuals to post on. As I personally don’t think my content qualifies as “porn” so it does feel odd to use it.
