There is Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Nowadays the second most famous game on Steam. Most of the items in it worth a few cents, few dollars. Some of them more than $10 USD or even $100 USD. Rarely more than $1000 USD. And more rarely more than $10 000 USD.

As far as I know, the most expensive weapon skin was the "Souvenir AWP | Dragon Lore from Boston 2018 Major" so far. One of its kind was sold for over $61 000 USD.
