Does 20K MAGIC Tokens Worth 3.814 STEEM Because That's What I Lost Today?
Let me add few data points to the question.
- @magic dice earns 100,000+ STEEM from its operations
- "Profits" are distributed among token holders
- Total supply is 7 Billion Tokens
- You get 50 tokens per 1 STEEM you bet
I did try some tricks to try to get the maximum mount of tokens. I lost all the STEEM I had which was 3.815 and got 0.001 STEEM back telling that I had lost it. Do you think I got a good deal?

Curious about the long term plan for tradability of the tokens...
Curious what factors all could play into something like that, value, etc.
I gathered a few tokens and lost a few Steem in the process. Some fun but seems like an easy way to lose Steem quick also if you're not careful.
Personally I focus more on getting more tokens than actually winning something. Due to profit distribution the tokens can end up being a very nice passive income opportunity.

I think that you had a great deal, because even if 1 MAGIC token will worth only $0.001 USD, then 20 000 MAGIC tokens will worth $20 USD.
1 Steem is currently (2019.01.18, 08:05 CET) worth $0.334492 USD, so 3.814 Steem is currently worth $1.275 USD.
Based on the prices above, this is 1568.627% profit.
Even if the value of the Steem goes up to $5 USD, it will still be a small ($0.93 USD) win, because 3.814 Steem would worth $19.07 USD in that case.
But this is only my opinion. This is not an investment nor betting advice.
There is no guarantee for the value of the MAGIC tokens nor for the value of the Steem. Both of them can go up and down.
if you hold them long enough and the traffic stays the same or even increases it was probably worth it.
