we don't need governments. We should focus on allowing individuals to work together on projects in an autonomous nature without interference from outside individuals.

Maybe Hans Rosling can explain you:

I think the issue is, in developed countries many people can't see growth and prosperity (see Trump, Brexit, extremists). Because the progress happens in the "developing" or third-world-countries.

Humanity never has lived better than today.
