Community Poll: DrugWars - Is it still a Steem App?
Greetings People of Steem,
as you might know, the game @drugwars recently introduced changes, which removed an important connection to the Steem blockchain.
Initially, the custom_json transaction_type was used for players to interact with the game in a decentralised manner via the Steem blockchain. This fact alone made the game a Steem d/App, which is a requirement to be listed on SteemApps.com.
However, with the newest update (in addition to the removal of rewards paid out in Steem weeks earlier), the strings connecting @drugwars to Steem have become fewer and fewer. Which raises the question, if @drugwars should still be considered a Steem d/App or if it should be de-listed from SteemApps.com (as it has been from State of the Dapps recently).
This decision is surely no easy one and at this point-in-time, no decision has been made yet, which is why this post is addressed to you, the community.
What do you think?
Is @drugwars still a Steem d/App, thus having the right to remain on SteemApps.com? Or did the recent update remove this privilege?

Our number 1 used dapp should be one that uses all things that steem offers not that it has steem as one of many ways of using the game.
Ive lost money, im not going to say its a dapp in hope i will get any back. Its not a dapp anymore, its just a internet game. Get rid.

Just because you can still log in with steem and because it started on steem doesn't mean it is a steem app anymore than it is a facebook or google app.
It is probqbly best described as a java app.

Tough question.
Would consider it a Steem app for the time being. It uses Steemconnect for authentication and Steem as currency.
Not the strongest arguments to be called a Steem app. Few would include a generic game that accepts Steem as payment in your list.
Also keep in mind that STEEM is not the main currency for payment in the game, it's FUTURE.

I still really like the game. But I feel like it's not really a steem app anymore.
