While I'm not at all happy that Dlive up and left, it was there prerogative, and perhaps the epitome of the blockchain's version of buyer beware. They may not be the last dApp to set up shop, make some money, build a community, then take off for their own greener blockchain.

PewDiePie going to Dlive will be a big feather in Dlive's cap, and it could very well introduce all kinds of his fans to crypto. It's said it's not happening on STEEM, really, even if I'm not a PewDiePie fan, he's is/was one of the largest YouTubers. Even if a fraction of his subscribers join Dlive, that will be amazing.

However, I do believe as time rolls along, there will be other chains and even other Dlive competitors on STEEM, and who knows. Maybe a lesson will be learned from the last time.

My concern is that there really isn't enough transparency. I might write a post about this. They have not mentioned how much tokens they own and they are as decentralized as FB coin. They say 1 LINO Point is $0.012 and sell 57 points for $0.99 on appstores. Basically Apple and Google are getting rich off of these guys with their 30% cut
