Is it wise to lease SP?

With the 50/50 rewards split, is it a good decision to lease SP? Would you make enough or at least break even with your lease? Is it profitable at all?

  • It's profitable

  • It's a loss

  • It's bad to lease

  • I don't know

I have not leased Steem Power since the initiation of the HardFork 22 (HF22).

Alright, thanks for your comment

It depends on what ROI you are getting out of your Lease. Just saying it's Profitable or it is a Loss isn't good enough, dabble in the Numbers and see for yourself.

For example, everyone's VP recovers at the rate of 20% a day which basically tells that you get about Ten 100% Upvotes for Free as the VP recovery rate will recover that in a day. So taking that into consideration if you get a 20x ROI of your SP then you get even since the Rewards currently split 50/50 and if you get anything above that then you are making a Profit for sure.

Alright, thanks for the explanation

The lease payment and the curation ROI are around the same levels. Don't expect much profit from it.

Means it's not too bad
