Which weapons will have the main role in WW3?
Which weapons will have the main role in WW3?
In a poll, somebody asked recently if we are close to World War 3 (WW3) or not. Other sources are suggesting we are already at the edge. (I personally don’t think so, as NATO-countries are trading in peace with Russia and China, building pipelines like the Nord Stream…)
Others mean a WW3 can be fought with totally new weapons and methods like cyber warfare or space devices. So I’m asking if it happens if WW3 comes, which weapon(s) will have the main role? Traditional ones which are known from the 20th century? New ones? Make your choice(s).

Word wars, thought wars. But I do not know if we humans are so intelligent then.
I thought ideology and religion are only hiding the real breakpoints: money and power, economic and commercial interests...

This would be one of the cheapest ways to kill and control people. Biological warfare is too unpredictable IMO and wouldn't be used by "sane" leaders.

I have long worried that at some point soon a small group of "leaders" would be able to control a large forces of these "bots". Where as in the "old days" you had to get at least some buy-in from the troops doing the killing. Now one person can control an entire army and just say "kill all humans within X area" without any fear of the "troops" disagreeing or having moral problems with it.
Terminator/SkyNet style war or population control is now a serious possibility. :-(

The future war will be invisible to the world . In fact, even now there is war going on from time to time , just that most are taking place in the cyber world and behind the scene . The world is too connected due to globalization that it will cost everyone too much to start a war.
Perhaps, we are now in middle of World War 6???
