Is the 27th of December the day of the garbage?
On the picture, a lot of empty wrapping (packaging) by a small shop after Christmas, somewhere in Europe. After Christmas, some presents and a lot of food also goes to the garbage bins, together with many Christmas trees.
Maybe we could protect much better our Earth if we could eliminate the Christmas shopping madness? Should we declare the 27th of December the day of the garbage?

Maybe it would be only simbolic, but declaring this day as day of the garbage could open the eyes of some people, too.

Goes to show that most gifts are garbage too..

Not for me personally, I try to minimise my abuse of the world. Most don't give a fuck though. They don't recycle, they throw away half of their food, they have like 3 cars etc etc.

It's still just one day. Promoting good habits and getting people reduce consumption and recycle would be the better way.
