How Will XYZ Trade? – The Solution
Some days ago I asked how will the mysterious cryptocurrency “XYZ” trade, until the 10th of August. It’s not even August but I give you the answer.
Because, the mysterious cryptocurrency was the Bitcoin, and the year of the data, 2011. In summer of 2011, Bitcoin traded in that range, between 5 and 31 USD, approximately. And answers saying the trading range will be maintained were correct. See the second chart.
Conclusion? Maybe only that these short term charts are really for the short term. Not very useful in the long term. And I suppose the liquidity is also very important. Illiquid assets can produce big price jumps, one lesser order can cause a lot of price distortions. Also a lesson for the different kind of Steem-Engine token holders.
