Do you think casually playing Splinterlands?STEEM Monsters is an investment?
Today I came across a Ruler Of The Seas guy as a part of Daily Quest Rewards and I don't even play Water Splinter. One thing I've noticed is that the prices have gone up by a $1 or more.
These are actually the lesser gains compared to Lord Arianthus which has had X3 gains and the Gold Cards that went up almost X5 after the updates to the game some new rulesets. The funny thing is just a day (or was it too :P) ago I got exactly both of those from rewards
E-sports is one thing. Tournaments is for great pros. But I'm getting into $10 worth cards a week and I consider it to be like a dividend. There is only supposed to be 1000 max level Reward Cards (practically it'll be even lower). The prices can appreciate a lot as there has only been about 10% of the supply distributed.

You earn some Dark Energy Crystals (DEC) after every battle you win.
And you can sell Dark Energy Crystals for Steem on the Steem Engine.
