Steemians, hives, etc all need to make up their mind what to do next. Stay or leaving. The past 2 weeks a lot changed and this platform isn't very open about its (future) plans. A big group will not know what is going on, how to handle only notice they no longer earn.

Steemit does not have a future in my opinion, so it is neither good, nor bad.
Nowadays I (and many other people) do not use Steemit. Steemit a failure. A failed dApp on the Steem blockchain. The reason for that was probably the bad marketing.
Steemit was/is marketed with the money earning opportunity.
The success of the Steem blockchain is depending on the dApps of the Steem blockchain, and of course, on the users. Most of the users are selfish and greedy. Most of the users are focusing only on their own blog posts, but they do not care about other people's blog posts. This is also "thanks to" the bad marketing of Steemit.
