Do You Think The Crypto Space Will Benefit Or Suffer From The Next Recession?
Bitcoin came into existence in the fall of 2008. That's when the last global recession had just begun. Bitcoin or the rest of the crypto space have not yet been tested in an economic downturn. If cryptocurrencies are considered risky assets, that means that they will be hard hit at an economic downturn. But if they are considered non-correlated assets (to stocks and other traditional assets), then they could perform well in a recession. So, do you think BTC and other cryptos will retain value when the next global recession hits?
- Yes, cryptos will be a safe haven.
- No, when shit hits the fan in the economy, cryptos will go under even faster than everything else.
