Has the low price of Steem changed your voting behavior?
Greetings Steemians!
Steem price has declined considerably from the mid of 2018. It is trading around $0.24/Steem. I have witnessed that many users, who were active curators, now hesitate to upvote other users posts and comments.
Has the low price of Steem also changed your voting behavior?
- It has not changed me. I am still an active upvoter.
- It has become difficult to upvote the posts and comments of other users because of low value of my upvote.
- Something else?

Nowadays I have more than 500 Steem Power, and I mostly upvote blog posts.
I would also upvote comments, but nowadays my upvote is worth less than $0.01, so nowadays I rarely upvote comments, but I would, if my upvote would worth at least $0.02, which is the payout threshold on Steem.
If I upvote comments, then I risk the danger of wasting my voting power, because if no one else upvotes the comment, then the author will not receive anything.
Back in the day, a 100% upvote with 100 Steem Power was worth $0.01, and a 100% upvote with 500 Steem Power was worth $0.05.
Nowadays the comment curating is difficult.
