I was recently given a 100% Downvote by a whale with almost 1 Million SP.

This was given on a Bible Code that I discovered on the "Birthday of Jesus"

Maybe the whale does not have an understanding of how much research goes into finding and presenting a Bible Code?
Maybe it was done out of Bigotry?
Maybe it was done because of the post promotion?
Not too sure why, because no comment was left!

Promotion services on Steemit like @Minnowbooster or @Smartmarket no longer offer any financial incentives due to HF21, which is fine for the end-user, but it does offer a greater reward for curators as well as help get your work noticed.

When downvotes can be given so easily, with such little personal effect, without even a need to click on or read the article, without thought on what it does to those it is given too, then Steemit will once again be on the decline.

Proposal for changes:

. Downvotes can only be given once the article has been clicked on.
. A comment must be given with the Downvote.
. Downvotes need to have a cost to those giving it.

Make Steem great again! Not by destroying individuals, but by building up communities.
