AS A NEWBIE

I've heard about steemit for quite sometime now from my close friends,but I noticed my reluctance to join the community .Maybe because of my addiction to facebook and twitter, or just because am not ready to Be subjected to the newbie region, because I fully understand the challenges that comes with being new in any social network.
But then again I thought to myself, you got to start from somewhere, at least that's what I did in the previous social media I joined and I now enjoy every bit of them.
I hope my stay and participation in steemit will be enjoyable as I start making new friends from all around the world and learning enormously in the process.
