The Fish Tawilis Is Endangered

Have you heard of the fish called tawilis? It is a fresh water sardine found only in the Philippines. On the lake Taal in Batangas to be exact. That will be Sardinella tawilis to be more specific. I too had heard that in the news and read it online on some leading online news sites. I did not know that it is only found in the Philippines. Maybe people will start to do something before it goes extinct. I hope that won't happen especially it is endemic to the area. Let us hope for the best.
