Don't Get Bored

Having kids has taught me that people usually don't want something that they haven't already experienced from an early age (food, music, art, events, philosophy, geography, etc.). Children don't know what they want until they try it. We must make a point to try things that are foreign to us. Otherwise, we get stuck in boring close-minded repeating patterns that are essentially no good for us. It's priceless to have folks you can trust take you on adventures away from your comfort zone. Settle on your ethics, morals, and those you trust-then try something that at least makes you nervous, I say. Don't take anybody's word for it. You may just find out that you were doing it wrong the whole time.
