Sometimes it takes nothing more than a single smile to soften stone walls and to warm up a cold heart. A loving smile, a kind word, a listening ear and above all a caring heart is what our community needs at a time such as this. I (we) have decided to give all it takes as far as my strength can carry to be the reason why that broad smile is on that child’s face.
We have the mindset that every child (teenager) is our child and thus deserves our love and support to lead the better life that they were predestined to.

some of us are not just here to earn a living but to shine as light in love and benevolence so that through our act of love our sphere of contact would be better than we met it.

A few days ago we (I and @joshuaetim) reached out to a rural primary school in Ikot Ese, Akwa Ibom State Nigeria and gave out notebooks and biros to some of the pupils as rewards for hard work and excellence in their academic endeavor. You can click here for more details

Those children indeed deserve love and support as 60 of them were without school uniform and even walk on bare foot to school since the start of the term. In empathy we promised to return at the resumption of 2 term which is the 23 April, 2018, a few weeks from now.

ESTIMATE AND REQUEST
We are would be returning as promised to provide few a these kids with schools kits to help spur conducive learning for them. As of the time of #1500 (3SBD/STEEM) is the cost of sewing a pair of uniform for a kid and pair of sandal is valued at #1500 (3SBD) 5 notebooks (for each kid) #500 (1sbd).
By the calculation, your donation of at least 3sb/steem can give supplies to a kind that is going back to school this April 23. I indulge you to join me so we can show love and give hope to this children, lets let them know we care. together we would give their life a meaning.
If we can provide at least 20 of them with this support of a bag, uniform, sandal and 5 notebooks each, if you would be fair enough.
SO in real time, 7sbd is enough to provide a kid with school kits as school resumes. If we are supporting 20 children as supposed, that would be a total of 140sbd valued at #84,000 (naira) at the moment

Why Should You Trust Me?

Am a man of my words and have thus built quite a good reputation in my community and beyond as escrow (local sbd –naira exchanger). I am part of the admin team @steemit-uyo community headed by @samstickkz.
Early February I served as the chairman (project manager) for the Feb 14th Steemit-it Care. A project that was put up to reach out and show love and provide support for an orphanage in the state, Akwa Ibom state, Nigeria.

Every child is our child and deserves our love and support.

Back To School Support

Second term academic session for them begins this month, 23 April 4, 2018. Basically we promised providing a pair a new uniform for 4 pupils without any. But the truth is there are more 4 of them that requires new uniform, sandals, books, bags and more that would spur better learning.
You can imagine the pains some of them go through especially walking tor and fro school on bear foots on a sunny/rainy day.

That child you ignore and refuse to do something for today may up doing something to you tomorrow. Do not pay deaf ears to their needs.

The ball is in your court today to make your sphere of contact better than you meet it. Your donation of at least 3SBD would go a long way in putting a lasting smile on that child.
