The picture you're seeing is that of my cousin, Goodness Agonowei who is 16 years old. She is the firstborn of her mother, with 4 younger ones following her. She would be writing her entry level examination to enter university in 2 months time. She's currently attending extra moral lessons in preparation for that. She really needs a laptop for the following reasons:

1. So that she can use it to be preparing for her exams which will be computer-based. We currently have no laptop at home so she has no system to study with. This laptop will make study easy for her, and enable her pass her exams well.
2. She is a very brilliant girl and can write exxeptionally. I have already told her about steemit and she's interested to start blogging here but she has no phone of her own as her mother cannot afford to buy her smart phone. Her mother is the one taking care of her now because the father got married to another woman. With this laptop, she can join steemit and start blogging so that she can even be supporting herself financially when she enters university by September this year as shouldering the financial responsibility will be too challenging for her mother. Just to point out that during her secondary school, she had to drop out of school to stay at home in her second year of senior secondary school because her mother couldn't pay school fees. She had to stay at home until the time of national exams before she went and wrote it. So this laptop will enable her earn money to support herself and make life better for this girl as she proceed to university.
3. The laptop will help her in study in the university and aid her to carry out her school work effectively.
