The concept of human cloning: fact or myth?

Human cloning is a scientific term that is a combination of two terms - human and cloning. Human are a specie of homo sapiens that are known as higher animals due to the composition of their body system. Human are different from other mammals as a result of certain characteristics such as being tailless, ability to walk upright on their two feet and their complex brain. On the other hand, cloning is gotten from the base word "clone" which simply means to replicate or to make a copy of something. Cloning is when a duplicate of a specie, or organisms is derived from the original. This is a concise description of the terms human and cloning in a general parlance.
Technically, human cloning is the process of creating genetically identical human which is mostly artificial as oppose to the natural human clones (twins) which happens during the process of reproduction between the male and female specie of human. In other words, human cloning is not in any way similar to the natural process of conceiving identical twins. Identical twins are formed when a fertilised egg of the female specie of human splits and create identical DNA wrapped up in two or more embryos. The duplicate that is derived during the process of human cloning is called a clone. It is worthy to note that a clone has the same genetic component as its original. Isn't that amazing?

A revelation was made by a man known as Donald Marshall in 2011 where he asserted in a Facebook post that he found himself in a cloning station which Queen Elizabeth was in charge. This is an attempt to expose and more importantly educate the public about the concept of human cloning which he was unlucky to result from. Marshall D., further explained that human cloning are of two types. They are replication and duplication. Replication has to do with when a clone grows from babyhood into its mature state in a normal manner while on the other hand, duplication is when an adult clone is being grown in a tank.
Interestingly, a lot of controversy have arose about the possibility of humans being cloned. It's believed that there's no scientific evidence whatsoever to back up the claim that human beings have been cloned at a particular point in time. Scholars opines that cloning human being may not be as easy as it seems because of the complex state of our reproductive system.

However, on 22nd of November, 2016, it was explained in a BBC publication that some celebrities are clones. For instance, Beyonce was said to have died in 2000 and the popular Beyonce that we know today is nothing but a clone. Other clones in the publication include Avril Lavigne, Miley Cyrus, Paul McCartney and so on
Conclusively, there are different school of thought about the concept of human cloning. Some believe that it does exist and is possible while others believe humans can not be cloned. Human cloning could be scary in the real sense if it's really possible.
And decades ago phones were only attached to walls (landlines); not portable. Technology has come so far over the last 50 years... who knows what it will bring to civilization in my grandchildren's lifetime.
ANd what about all the automated things happening; robotics for example. Assembly line workers may be non-existent in another 20 or 30 years.
But let's not get started in AI... all technology and science combined.
As is cloning.
I agree with you. The world is experiencing a rapid change in all aspects of life ranging from technology to science, health, communication and so on. In this age, anything is possible and is achievable so far humans still exist. Scientists and scholars are researching day in, day out to make new discoveries.
