I love my martial arts, but I have never had a proper sword duel; and knowing you can handle a blade i'd love to fight you in a VR / clone setting - I mean I am not confident of beating you i'd most likely get chopped down...Still you are a worthy adversary lol in my head it just seems like a cool idea if it was just a game / VR type of thing.... Or painless clone battle!Donald Marshall after some duels, particularly when i'd decapitate my cloned opponent, I'd grab the head by the hair or the ear and hoist it over my head... lol I didn't care, I was trapped and i was angry... it is on video, and it looks bad... I don't like the thought of chopping pieces of somebody in real life, but if it was just a game and didn't cause pain I might do.Basically I have trained sooo much in combat but I am totally against use of force unless it's defensive; so I never ever get a chance to test myself. I know it's unorthadox, but wen using a single handed blade that isn't too long - I tend to turn it upside down, so when I hold my hand out straight infront of me the blade points downwards and swipe it up and around in circlesPhil Chuppa thats weird all the tech they have and they couldnt make a solid energy sword.Brooke Stern Deus Ex (game from late 90s) had this thing called a Nanoblade - a metal blade covered with nanomachines that vibrated and sharpened it up naturally. I have to say though it took me ages to get used to holding a blade because my basic combat training was Shorinji Kempo which was mainly unarmed.Eagle Talon Kung Fu did teach me how to use several bladed weapons but to be honest I was never really that good apart from with mid length rapier type Chinese army swords or the smaller curved blade with the thick handle defender.I am loving how your combat skills are so good - that takes hard work to do, though I suppose it helps with your motivation when they put you up against that big eared nonce of a Prince, Philip the psychotic inbred tit.Phil Chuppa they dont talk about real stuff like let em bleed on sword fighting exhibitions, thats good to know.Brooke Stern Other thing I found when sparring with wooden swords, was to let them swing at me a load of times - bait them into swinging to make them tire ... use the full length of the blade to get them to swing to push it away etc; then after 5 or so minutes they start to look a bit knackered from all the heavy breathing.In the new world, definitely should make fighting weaponless though - much as I love weapons; hand to hand where you don't have to kill your opponent in order to win is the best way in my view.Like the old style Chinese ring fight - where the ring is a raised circular platform and if you fall off you lose.Donald Marshall a duel, optimal for me is a one two,... or a 3 hit combo...Donald Marshall actually a duel optimal for me is just not at all... Brooke Stern Yeah but realistically I cannot even imagine a world with NO fighting at all, I mean human nature is to compete, to fight.I like fighting, even though I hate hurting people who don't deserve it - so I think i'd agree no fight is better than any fight; if you MUST fight then better that it doesn't end in any casualties; and you can shake hands after and honour the victor.Phil Chuppa ..............well yeah I mean I think people veiw a duel as a show instead of what it is, which is people hacking each other up with blood and parts everywhere.Brooke Stern.........
