Also, "tenure" is appropriate. Since you're from Belgium (badass!), I'd like to clarify that Americans are tired of war. Which isn't just my opinion. Poll after poll, Americans disagree with our government's intervention. We basically DO NOT live in a democracy. We live in an oligarchy. I feel as if the EU, especially the U.K. are dragged along with my governments decisions.
well, most would agree, but its actually the politicians who don't want to look poor and thank you (but belgium is not bad-ass its just a cesspool) they try to keep up but they dont have the money, meantime they try to BE but they cant so they're stuck with
a cesspool
the last polls here that made it to the news got outright overturned
the last one ISSUED by the governments (of which we have five in this strange little place) got overturned after everyone said "NO"
enlightened despotism (i didnt pull that out of a hat to start ranting about it to everyone lol) is not democracy, you say oligarchy, thats pretty close to what they call russia then, id call this place enlightened despotism, i dont think those people have it in them to dictate, i think they are simply SO far away from reality they have no clue what they're doing
and the "experts" they surround themselves with have a lot of paper on the wall
but as much empathy with the gutter and the peasant
or the working class hero for that matter
as a god would with a flea
they don't get it :)
critical minds are critical, you dont need to start a physical revolution to keep the underground alive
although sometimes it ends up like that
i hope i wont have to see that in my lifetime here
