Opportunities to Grow
As a brand new Steemian, it's been quite a mission trying to understand how the system works and how to grow.
I've been wading around, trying to read as much as possible, leaving comments on posts in various categories and generally trying to figure out how to get more followers.
I've only been here a week and have only written 5 posts. What I've noticed is that not many people view them.
I'm very thankful to my sister @kiwideb and @sift666 for introducing me to their friends so that I had a base to start from. I'm sure they will follow along to see how I'm doing.
I came across @markrmorrisjr through them and have been following along since.
How amazing that he has introduced the #dolphinschool at just the right time.
I signed up yesterday with some apprehension of whether I could do it, but today is day one and this is my first writing assignment.
One of the people I have started to follow is @papa-pepper. He posts interesting content, talks on lots of subjects that interest me and I can relate to. Most recently his post on the baby goats are great - I used to milk goats and have had quite a lot to do them them. I would be honored if he would read this and follow me :)

I agree with the others - you are doing just fine. The thing that will help you the most is learning the Markdown techniques, so you can italics, bold, and even hyperlink.

Hi thank you for your suggestion - I did download Markdown but I haven't really hard a chance to explore it yet. I hope to soon :)

Wow, this is only your 6th post? Did you blog in other places first? Well done! @kiwideb is one of my biggest fans! Awesome to meet you! Okay, for future posts, you might try adding a little more content. You could add quotes, which allows you to create more value, without having to write more. Also, as we progress, work on fulfilling the assignment, without telling everyone what you're doing. I want these posts to be "evergreen" (content that will last the long haul) What a great first day, you did very well. So many great posts in this assignment.

Five days in and this post of yours almost $6 is a success in my view. 99% of all my posts that have rewards over $10 were me buying upvotes from bots. You are doing well on here and your potential is far better than mine on steemit. So do not fret. You will be richer than me in no time ;)
