Dolphins, Fantastic Intelligence

When we think or talk about dolphins, the first thing that comes to our mind is their intelligence, and we focus on it considering that it is one of its most outstanding features; because in honor of the truth, of the thousands of members that the Animalia kingdom contains, dolphins occupy one of the first places in question of intelligence, based on studies that indicate that a large part of their behaviors show unequivocally their high brain development and their ability to understand complex situations.

But, I particularly love them because they are beautiful animals and just by looking at them I feel they transmit peace; I also think they are very creative and playful, they follow unmechanized or rigid behavior patterns, enjoying the games and the company of the people; and their empathy suggests that they experience emotions such as sadness or joy, understanding my feeling.

According, I have read about dolphins, I know that they have a great capacity for learning and can transmit the learning acquired to other generations of dolphins; for that reason they are very requested animals for the water parks, although the activities that they realize there are not of my liking and it leaves a bad flavor to me, question that I will not explain here, for being a subject very discussed and controversial.

Following with the studies of dolphins, there have been cases in which they use tools; for example, sponges to protect their snout from rough surfaces; and the members of a pack go together cooperating with each other and sometimes with other species of animals.

For many, the dolphins are superior to us, in the sense that they do not seek destruction, they help each other and also seem to feel sorry for human life. In fact, there are many true stories that show us that dolphins are our allies. And if they wanted to process something to us? And we, because of our low perception and arrogance, do not understand?

Whenever I think about dolphins I think about the future, about their future and about our future. Maybe it's the next dominant species if a catastrophe happens; because they adapt easily and fit into the environment, while we must modify it to be able to live. What do you think?
