“Anybody who doesn’t know what soap tastes like, never washed a dog.” — Franklin P. Jones
So jeah. This is a fact. Yesterday, after the rain, we went outside for a little walk. Big mistake.
Everything was wet, but she was running around like crazy, and of course, in the end, she was totally wet and muddy. It's a problem because when you bring her back into the apartment, she jumps on the bed and she sleeps there. So I had to prevent this from happening.
Step one: Wipe her before entering the apartment.
Step two: Get her under the shower. Right away!
Step three: Don't let the shampoo come into your eyes and mouth ( not successful)
Step four: When it's over, towel her off. And, of course, be prepared for the inevitable “shake” as your dog dries herself off. ( horror )
Even if your dog loves water, there are still chances that she doesn't like showering. There’s something about bath time that makes most dogs go crazy. She loves swimming in the rivers, lakes or playing in a mud…except when it comes to getting in a shower. Oh, thia sad puppy look.
But I succeeded ;) She is so puffy now :))
