Waiting
Capone and I drove two and a half hours to pick up my son from college home for a few days. We were waiting in the parking lot in front of his dorm, and Capone was so good waiting.
I had him tie up to the bike rack afraid he would scare the people who walked by, but he didn't bother. His eyes were focused on looking out for his boy! It has been a few months since my son left for college, and Capone was very sad.
After we took my son and dropped him back at his home, Capone were totally devastated! He kept looking back at the road, or just lounged down on the back seat. Once we got home, he stuck on me and lied down my lap whenever I sat down.

A boy and his dog. Very special thing. Two and a half hours sounds perfect to send your son to college. He gets to move away from home but you can jump in a car and be there :) Very nice pictures of Capone.
Yes, he was always with my son since we brought him home at 7 weeks old. He was drooping when my son moved away to college..but the bond is easily reconnect once he saw "his boy"!
Nice looking dog, Icy. What a difference in Capone expression- first the look to joy waiting for your son and in the last photo, the sadness in his eyes.
He was sad for two days, not eating much, and not playing much..Thank you, Joanne!
