Long Time No See (Howling At Old Friends)
Hello to all of my friends and followers who have been there for me and Cloud in the past several years. He and I did not ever do without much during the years we spent climbing mountains and hoofing it across the shorelines of the east, west and the southern beaches of Texas. This is truly because of the many ways that we were supported and sponsored by the people who were genuinely interested in the epic and life changing journey we embarked upon when I was still a puppy and Cloud rescued me from the animal shelter I was abandoned in.
A little over six years has passed by and we haven't spent much time apart from the day we met in the Mitchell County animal shelter in North Carolina. From the mountains to the sea, the east to the west on a quest to be truly free to live our lives we have created a bond that makes us one.
We have been off trail for a little over a year and Cloud has had some health problems including a hip replacement surgery. I have never been indoors for this extended period of time....I am feeling bored and I am putting on a little weight.
Now that Cloud is back to walking and spring is coming up...I want to go anywhere to get out of our very tiny apartment in Arkansas. We have a plan to go hike up the Ozark Trail sometime this year before it gets extremely hot and uncomfortable. It seems likely that the days of living off grid are over and the hiking will be the occasional summer outing or vacation. It's not all that bad.. I am going to go on the road with my aunt Julie and riding in a big rig truck. I'm sure I will be posting a few blogs on my new adventures.
