There is Never a Good Time For a Man to Say Goodbye to His Wiener
Rest in Peace Toby
May 4, 2007 - December 30, 2020
Yesterday was a tough day. I had to say goodbye to Toby, my 13 year old miniature dachshund. Toby has been my pal for almost half of my life, and it was definitely the tough half. The first 14 years of my life were easy, I was a kid with nothing to worry about. But the last 14 years is where things got serious, and Toby was always there for me. He was a happy little pup and although he didn't like to be touched in his later days (due to various back surgeries), he always loved to snuggle. The last couple of months Toby suffered from renal failure. His kidneys just stopped working properly and he wasn't eating anymore. He got really skinny and the vet/my parents decided it was time to put him out of pain. Saying goodbye was incredibly difficult, as I couldn't stop but thinking of all the amazing moments Toby provided over the last 14 years. I will probably make some more posts in the future sharing some of the great times I had with Toby. I'll never forget the time he made it to the trending page in 2018 for a bath time video. Dogs are friends, they are family and they are angels. Toby will be dearly missed by me and my entire family.
There is never a good time for a man to have to say goodbye to his wiener.
Rest In Peace Toby
You were an awesome pup
