I had to look this up hoping that it was fake news but tragically it is very true. I hope they don't let this police officer get away with this. Hopefully the dedicated fanbase that this dog had will see to it that the cop gets the book thrown at him. He certainly wont be respected in Chiang Mai anymore... probably get transferred since that it what the corrupt police force does in Thailand.
