some of the food we take are very toxic to dogs, please try as much as possible not not feed your dogs with the following foods

Alcohol: alcohol is very toxic and dangerous when consumed by dogs. it can cause intoxication, vomiting, diarrhea, lack of coordination, poor breathing and abnormal acidity,central nervous system depression and in some cases coma and/or death.

Avocados: avocados contains persin, an oil-soluble toxin that can be dangerous to dogs. it can cause fluid accumulation around the heart of your dog,respiratory distress and in some cases leads to death.

Grapes and raisins: grapes and raisin can cause kidney failure when consumed by dogs.

Chocolate: there is a chemical in chocolate called theobromine (a relative of caffeine) which is very toxic to dogs, It can cause a dog to vomit and become very thirsty, but in more extreme cases it can cause abnormal heart rhythms, seizures, tremors, or death.

Any food containing the sweetener Xylitol: Xylitol is a type of artificial sweetener found in many sugar-free products, like gum and candy, as well as some nut butters like peanut butter. It causes an insulin surge through your dog’s body that can lead to hypoglycemia (a drop in blood sugar) and liver failure

Coffee and tea: coffee and most tea contains caffeine and this caffeine can cause increased thirst, restlessness and an increased heart rate in dogs.

Garlic and onions: garlic and onions are very toxic to dog in what ever form (raw,dry or in powder form), it can cause gastrointestinal irritation in your dog and could lead to red blood cell damage

Fatty meat: the high level of fat in fatty meat like ham,beacon etc can cause pancreatitis in dogs.

Walnuts and macadamia nuts

Dough made with yeast

Fruit pits or apple seeds

always remember to put the health of your dog into consideration when feeding your dog. in case your dog accidentally ingest any of the listed food above, please seek the help of an expert immediately.

I would include in the above as being equally toxic to the worst you mentioned: a poor, unfortunate puppy being owned by a vegan, who imposes their own beliefs on their dog.

Thanks for the post! Although I don't own a dog directly, I find this information useful. I say this because I am around dogs most of the time and I tend to give them what I am eating as well, not that I have given them of what was listed above. So yeah, this information is very useful and I find it very helpful. Thanks!
