Hot Dog! Beating the Heat...
With the warm HOT weather we've been having, taking the dogs out for a walk means we have to cool them off when we get home. We also need to get out and back before the footpaths get too hot and burn the dogs' paws.
This was Oscar a few days ago, so pleased to be in the cool water after a good long run around at the park down the road.
It usually takes a bit of encouragement to get him into the water, but he was so hot and out of breath that he jumped straight in and lay down.
Now isn't that a great smile!!!
He looks so happy! We've got snow here, so enjoy that summer heat for me, eh? ;)
He loves his outings to the park, that's for sure! I don't know that I could handle a season of ice cold winter with snow... maybe in small doses, I far prefer the warm sunshine!

Gorgeous pup! Hope things have cooled down a little in Aus. My in-laws in Canberra had 42C the other day! Too hot!
Thanks! Yeah, the temp is all over the place this season. We're going from 36+ one day to barely 25 the next, and then back up again. I know the eastern states were having a heat wave. Not sure if that's ending yet, but temps have been way up in those parts. I'm quite happy to have a coller day here and there in between the scorchers😁
