A break from the rain

Our little rescue has come so far in the 7 months we’ve had him! He’s feeling comfortable being by himself, he still wants to be by our side, though.
He will nap quietly on my lap, but still needs to get up & follow if I move.

I hope some day soon he will come to realize that he can simply relax & not worry about whatever it is he seems to always be thinking about. I’m not sure he ever fully relaxes.
Perhaps that will always be his personality, and that is ok...just a little sad to me.

The rain finally stopped and he’s getting some fresh air...but not without his eyes on the door.
